Pottery

The pottery I make is primarily hand-built from slabs of stoneware clay. The whimsical nature of the plants and animals that I carve into the leather hard clay makes each functional piece unique. The pieces are then bisque fired followed by the addition of colorful underglazes and a clear glaze to provide a smooth, food-safe surface, for eating & drinking. The ceramic pieces I make are a joy to use when serving meals or for a quiet moment with tea.
